I posted a tribute a few days ago but just had to add this quote from one who watched Sir Tom regularly 'Finney was that good the opposition used to have three men marking him in the warm up !'.
I hope that Football fans turn out in their thousands on Thursday to say goodbye to one of the all time greats of world football and a great man. God broke the mould when he made Tom ! RIP

Privileged to live opposite Tom's old house in Regent Drive, Fulwood.
I wish I'd seen him play, but I enjoyed shaking hands when he presented me a signed shirt on the Deepdale pitch one match.
Rest in peace, you have earned it Tom.
