Today when I go to Deepdale during the minute's silence not only will I think of Sir Tom Finney I'll remember my dad, stepfather and father in law, all now passed away. I never had the privilege of watching Sir Tom play apart from in his testimonial match but they told me many stories of his brilliance. RIP Sir Tom and absent friends/ relatives

Very sad day in football when the great man passed into the next life, sir tom was not only a great footballer he was a gentleman.

Had one memorable time when I might him and all I could do was listen to his amazing stories. He will truly be a missed man but never forgotten.
