Today when I go to Deepdale during the minute's silence not only will I think of Sir Tom Finney I'll remember my dad, stepfather and father in law, all now passed away. I never had the privilege of watching Sir Tom play apart from in his testimonial match but they told me many stories of his brilliance. RIP Sir Tom and absent friends/ relatives

You used to drive past me kicking a ball against my garden wall most Sundays as I lived a few houses down from your son Brian's house. Never failed to wave and say hello.
Will be at Deepdale today to pay my respects and cheer the lads on to get 3 points for you.Chris Ashworth
